The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has launched its Young Talent Internship Programme for 2023,

 The 2023 Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Young Talent Internship Programme is a learning opportunity for highly motivated individuals who are keen to share their innovative ideas and research experience in fields related to FAO's mandate and programmes. The programme offers practical work experience to selected candidates who are enrolled in an under-graduate or post-graduate degree programme, or recent graduates. The internship provides a better understanding of FAO's mission and objectives, and qualified individuals specialize in relevant fields, will provide assistance to FAO. Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting a motivation letter and evidence of attendance at a recognized university through FAO's career portal.which offers an exciting learning opportunity to talented young women and men. The programme is aimed at individuals who are highly motivated to share their innovative ideas, 

The selected candidates, who may be enrolled in an under-graduate or post-graduate degree programme or recent graduates, will have the chance to supplement their academic knowledge with practical work experience in a field related to the work of FAO. The internship will help them gain a better understanding of FAO's mandate and programmes. Additionally, FAO will benefit from the assistance of qualified individuals who specialize in relevant fields.


To be eligible for the programme, candidates must be nationals of FAO Members and aged between 21 and 30 at the start of their internship. 

They should also have a working knowledge of at least one of FAO's official languages and be enrolled in a bona fide educational institution at the time of application or have recently graduated. Candidates should have appropriate residence or immigration status in the country of assignment prior to the start of the internship assignment and should possess good communication skills and knowledge of basic computer programmes.
