Studying in Singapore can be costly, especially for students from low-middle-income countries, which may discourage them from considering it as a study destination.



 However, this doesn't mean that studying in Singapore is out of reach for international students. Scholarships are available for international students in Singapore, and some of them don't require an IELTS score.

Singapore has become a popular destination for international students due to the availability of quality education at a lower cost than universities in the US or UK. Additionally, international students have access to scholarships that can help finance their education. Singapore is home to several reputable public and private universities that offer a broad range of courses to foreign students.

Some Singaporean universities don't require an IELTS score for admission. These universities include the National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University, National College of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, and Singapore University of Technology and Design.International students who are concerned about submitting an IELTS score can use an alternative method to demonstrate their English proficiency. If they have obtained a degree from a university where the language of instruction was English, they can obtain an official letter that confirms their proficiency in English. Some universities may also require an online interview or video interview as part of the admission process.

To apply for admission to a Singaporean university, international students must submit several documents, including a photocopy of their passport, birth certificate, educational certificates, standardized test scores (if applicable), academic references, passport-size photographs, statement of purpose, updated resume, and application fee draft (if applicable).Several prestigious scholarship offers are available to international students who wish to study in Singapore, including the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA), the GIIS Singapore Global Citizen Scholarship, and the Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA). 

The National University of Singapore also offers undergraduate scholarships for outstanding students from ASEAN member countries pursuing courses in engineering, computing, and science.

In summary, studying in Singapore is a viable option for international students, with various scholarship opportunities available to help finance their education. Singaporean universities offer quality education and a broad range of courses, and some don't require an IELTS score for admission.
